Almost Valentine's Day

It's almost Valentine's Day! Ever since we had Sahara, every holiday is so much more special. I was never that excited over the small holidays, (valentine's day, st. patrick's day, etc), but now, I get so excited knowing that this Valentine's Day is her very first Valentine's Day! As, this day gets closer, I think back to last year. I was on bed rest, depressed, lying in bed in a robe that had seen better days and needed a much needed washing! Ja had come home from work with a bouquet of roses, crab, salad, and bread. He cooked everything himself (which is a surprise in itself!), and displayed it all at the end of the bed on tv trays...talk about being spoiled! This year, we are going to the beach and spending the night with a few friends in a beach house! I'm really excited for this mini vacation! Ja is trying to get all his homework done before we go so we don't have to worry about that, and all we have to pay for is breakfast and the gas money! Yahoo! This will be Sahara's second time to the beach and I'm hoping that it won't be raining the entire time!

Another piece of exciting news is that we are looking to purchase a new-to-us, used suv! It will be our first big purchase since we have been married; actually, now that I think about it, it might be the first big purchase for both of us ever! We are looking at Dodg.e Duran.gos. I like them because they look sleek, yet can fit 7, which we would love to fill with kiddos. :-) The hardest part is finding one that we like the look of, the price of, and the low miles of! But, despite those hardships, I am determined to keep a smile and barter to the best of my abilities (which may be close to none)! I'll keep you posted!
Hope you all have a wonderful Valentine's Day!
