A Few of My Favorite Things

There are many things in life that excite me. Some being very small, a picnic in the park, and some being extremely huge, getting married, having a baby, etc... And, then there are the little things that excite me to where they are necessary items in our household.

1.) Fabric Softener: I just discovered this a short while ago; yes, I have been married for almost 4 years and yes, I am the one responsible for every load of laundry done in this house. I had no idea it actually worked! But, it really does make all of the clothes softer! I can no longer go without it.

2.) Baby Bjou.rn: This is incredible and quite necessary if Ja and I want to have dinner, or a clean place to sit down! Sahara does really well at entertaining herself in the morning or afternoon, but by evening time, she wants to be held and she loves being in the baby Bjou.rn. I have also figured out how to wear it on my front or on my back...quite impressive!

3.) A broken zip-tie: This, I know, sounds very strange. But, let me explain...we have a demon-cat. His name is Cecil, and he terrorizes everyone in our home, including our other cat, Savoury, (who is extremely sweet). So, in order to entertain him so that he is not clawing our feet or running around with wads of Savoury's hair in his mouth, we find his broken zip-tie that he loves! It can distract him for approximately 2 minutes...

4.) Ritz crackers: These are a new favorite of Sahara's. One cracker takes her about 5 minutes to eat, which equals me eating about 18 bites of my own meal while it is hot!

5.) And, last but not least, a vacuum cleaner: Cecil is terrified of it...enough said...
