It's funny how throughout the entire day, I continue to think, "oh, I got to write that in my blog," and then as soon as I have time to sit down and actually post, I can't remember a darn thing! So, while I try to remember the 10 things I wanted to write about, I'll tell you that I had the most wonderful day, today! It used to be that Thursdays were the worst. Ja would have school all day long, and by that, I mean from 8am to 10 pm. But, now that he is taking an online class, he goes to school at 5:30am (yuck, I know), to 1pm. And, then I get him to myself for the rest of the day! It was so nice sitting down to lunch with him across the table from me. We then all snuggled on the couch, (Sahara had woken up from her nap), and watched a little bo.ob tube. We took a trip into Por.tland to the bookstore, and then came home and Ja worked on homework while I cleaned and watched a movie. A really great day in my book!
I remembered a few things...I have begun to recycle! Yes, I know, really exciting! :) I used to think that recycling was just a giant hassle, but I've realized it's really simple. We put our huge blue bin outside the door, which makes it easy to just throw things in. And, everything can get thrown in the bin all together!(except the glass). It's fantastic! I thought I had to sort everything, tie things up (always saw my parents tying newspapers together), etc... It really cuts back on the garbage bin getting too full throughout the week, too! You can't tell that I'm proud of myself, right?!?
Sahara is growing like a weed! She is wanting to get around on her own, but can't get the crawling thing down yet. She doesn't want to be put down that often, but when I pick her up she just throws herself around, like I'm not going fast enough, or that I'm just in the way! You would think she would be crawling by now, with the way that I've been trying to show her how to crawl. That's right, I get down on my hands and knees and crawl around to show her how! I crawl slowly, I crawl fast, I explain to her what each part of my body is doing, and yes, I look like a moron! And, even though it is probably a waste of energy, (I mean who am I kidding, she isn't going to understand my explanation and start crawling), she thinks it's funny and laughs like crazy. So, yes I will continue my silly antics!
It's about bedtime, so I will end this post saying that I did remember the other things I wanted to say, and will have to post them another day. Good night!
Thanks for following my blog. Your little girl is just adorable. I am now a follower of your blog as well. =)
ReplyDeleteI am a new follower and new to blogging as well! I found your post on Meant to be a mom. I always think of a hundred things to post throughout my day too and then forget what they were and try to think of things to blog about! This whole blogging thing isn't as easy as it looks! haha
