9 Month Stats

Yep, Sahara is 9 months old today! It really amazes me how time has flown.
We had her 9 month check up today, and she certainly is a shrimp.
Her weight is 16lb 4oz- 9%(ninth percentile).
Her height is 27"- 31%
So, I guess everyone is right when they say she is super tiny for her age. :)

On another note, I wrote a while back that she slept through the night...apparently that was a one day thing...please. someone. kill. me.

She has been waking up at 3am every morning, screaming. And, this goes on for about an hour straight. And, that's a good night. There are some days that I think I have this mommy thing down, and other times I wonder what the heck am I doing with a baby?!?

I tried to convince the doctor to give me something that might drug her to sleep...he wasn't too thrilled with that idea. He did say either to indulge her, meaning she sleeps with us,(which I have known a few couples that have done this and they now are sharing their bed with their 4 year old and the new baby. Not something I want to do). But, that doesn't even work because she still wakes up and cries. Or, he said we could cut her off, meaning she cries it out. Not something Ja or I are fans of. So, I'm not sure what we are going to be doing tonight...probably what we do every night. I bring her to bed, if she's not there already. Try to calm her as she screams in my face and pull my hair. I get upset. Ja begs me to just feed her. Both Ja's and my eyes begin twitching from not having slept in days. I end up on the couch with the still screaming baby. And, we wake up with the big bags under all of our eyes. Something needs to change... Amazing that we still want another baby! hahahaha(when you read this laugh, it is to sound like a crazy, sleep-deprived, hysterical, at the end of her rope, woman).

Well, it is almost ten o'clock and the kitchen still needs to be cleaned and the house put to bed, so off I go, envious of you all who get more than 4 consecutive hours of sleep. Totally open to any suggestions...
