A Little Bit of This, A Little Bit of That

1. My new favorite station on Pandora is Norah Jones radio. Love love love this. I have it playing all day, every day. Or at least when the Children's Disney channel isn't on. (Who doesn't need a good rock out to Aladdin or Cinderella songs?)

2. I am super excited about a new app that my sister in law told me about. My fitness pal, and it is ahhmazing. So easy and user friendly. It keeps track of your calories keeping your goals in mind and tells you how many more or less calories you need to intake. Oh, and have I mentioned that you can scan the barcode of a product and it enters it all on its own. Technology amazes me, when I'm not hating it. :)

3. I forget how much I love to water the plants in my yard. Every winter I think, "man, I'm so happy it's raining so I don't have to water the plants." But, as soon as the weather warms up and the hose is the only thing that will keep them alive, I go out there every day to water, and suddenly realize how much I enjoy it. So soothing. Calming. There's just something about standing outside with the sun shining on you and taking care of plants.

4. I have found the secret to a clean home...baskets! More on this later.

5. Found this great buy at goodwill for only 8 bucks. Isla and Sahara love it. It has taken up residence in the playroom and gets played on constantly.

6. The girls slept the entire night in their own bed, a few nights ago. I say bed, because they have been sharing Sahara's bed lately. Isla has had enough of her crib. She will not sleep in it. And, Sahara has been begging for her sister to snuggle with her in bed. Isla has finally gotten big enough to hold her own against her sister's sleeping jabs, so they most of the time start out in their bed and slowing make their way into our bed through the night.

7. Work is going on in the front and back yard and I am hoping to plant grass in the back in just a couple weeks. Pictures will be coming once it's all done.

8. Both girls are loving the free palace pets disney app. No pop up ads that they can click on and it reads to them. It has given us a few more minutes in the morning to lie around, so we are loving it, too!
