New Book

We have been looking for a book that gives a wonderful, and correct, portrayal of Jesus' death and resurrection for Sahara. One that would tell the story in a way that would capture her heart and that we wouldn't mind reading over and over again. We finally found the perfect one, and I love it! I would recommend it to anyone with children, or even without. It is by R.C. Sproul, a favorite around here, and specifically for children. The pictures are amazing and the way he tells it is just beautiful. He starts it out with a little girl who is sick and has to take yucky medicine and ends up asking her grandfather why does the medicine that is supposed to make her feel better, taste so bad. The grandfather then tells a story about a Man who had to drink a cup of poison. It's called The Prince's P.oison Cup. You can buy it on Ama.zon, brand new for about 13 bucks. Sahara loves it, and I love reading it. It's a perfect book for reading right before bed or nap time. Hope you all get a chance to peek at it!
