Chores

My two babies are busy, busy tiny bees, that buzz from one thing to the next within 2 minutes. And, 2 minutes, that's on a good day.

I had gotten pretty good at keeping the house clean, picking up after Sahara, but now that Isla is walking fully and wandering around the house freely, I have found it a bit more challenging keeping the house clean with two. My nights usually consist of trying to pick up most of the mess so that I am not drowning in it the next day.

Sahara loves the house clean. She has a remark for everything once it is picked up. Especially if it happens when she's not around. Like when I clean something while she is napping, she always notices it as soon as she wakes up. And, not only notices it, but is excited by it.

The only thing is that she doesn't like to clean. Unless it is vacuuming or using a baby wipe to wipe down the house. I think, it's about time to implement a chore chart.Something that is looked upon as an improvement for our household. Something that teaches our children responsibility. Something that can be fun but at the same time, effective.

So, my question to all of you is, do you have a chore chart for your munchkins? What rewards do they receive? What have you found that works and what doesn't? Thanks in advance for any advice!
