A Little Bit of Sunshine

A couple weeks ago, we headed to the park while the sun was out. With the weather here in Oregon, we can't waste one day of sunshine. Seriously, if the sun is out, everyone is out. Cleaning the yard, washing the car, anything and everything.

We had been cooped up way too long. This mama is a very fair-weather kind of mama. So, the girls were ecstatic to be out in the sun, running around, getting all sorts of energy out.  

 The girls loved the swings. I couldn't get a photo of Isla smiling while swinging, but she did really love it!

 The slide was pretty fast :)

 Sahara got nervous at one point when an older boy came running by. He was not even close to her, and yet she freaked out, came down one stair at a time, all the while saying, "everyone is just going way too fast here."

I can't wait for summer when we can be outside all the time. We all love it. Sahara would live outside if I let her, and I'm sure her sister will probably be the same. Counting down the months til the sunshine is here to stay!
