The Big 0-3!

We had a busy, but fun weekend; our sweet Sahara turned three! This is incredible to me, since it seems like yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital. I have no idea how she can already be three, but she is. We had a great big party with the entire extended family and friends. Not many had met Isla, so it was kind of a two-in-one party. We had cake, a pinata, presents, and a kiddie pool which the kids loved, despite it not being as warm as the weatherman predicted. The cake was a My Little Pony cake, which was requested by the birthday girl, with pink frosting and sprinkles. Could it get any better?!!

My Little Ponies Cake!

As soon as we put the cake in front of her, she said, "ok, everybody, sing happy birthday to me!" She definitely knew what was going on this year! :)

We love you so much, Sahara. You are such a sweet little lady, and you are a wonderful big sister. We are so happy that you are ours. You are so incredibly special to us, and we pray that you have many more birthdays to come. Happy birthday, Sahara Jane! -With much love, Mama and Daddy
