I guess full-time nesting has set in! The girls' room is almost done, with the exception of their closet. Since the bedroom is so small, I'm making the closet into a changing table room as well as a closet. This house seriously has no storage space, and so their closet is the biggest one in the house and has kind of become a storage area, so I had a lot of work to do, but it's just about done. Ja needs to hang a couple of shelves and build another shelf above the closet rod.
I scrubbed the kitchen today and made it sparkle. And, got a ton of laundry done, which had been piling up. The only problem I have is that although I have these huge spring cleaning plans, I get tired easily, and seem to run out of energy way too quickly. Thus, right now, my house is rather untidy. But, today, I made a plan of doing just one room a day rather than trying to do them all at one time-which was so not going splendidly. Kitchen down-tomorrow is the living room/dining room.
I have finished almost all of the laundry. All the blankets and burp cloths are ready and I only have another load or two of baby clothes. I even started packing the diaper bag. When Arrayah came, I hadn't packed the diaper bag and while I was crying in pain, Ja was running around trying to throw everything in a bag, so I thought this time, maybe I should be a bit more prepared! Packing it up made it all more real to me. Or maybe just realizing that I don't have much longer til she comes. Just recently I started getting more uncomfortable. This child thinks that she is still only 3 inches long and can turn and do somersaults, something that should have ended a long time ago. Hopefully she will come to realize that she is a little too big now and calm down a bit.
My girlfriends threw me a shower this last weekend, and we had so much fun! It was so sweet and I felt so loved by everybody there. We played a couple of games that made us all laugh, ate some great food and cake, opened gifts, and hung out. We received so many nice things, (thus all the laundry), and now, only have a couple more things to get before Isla makes her debut!
On a completely different note...this is my 100th post! That's probably pitiful to those of you who are so much better at updating than I am, but I'm pretty proud of myself! :) Now, I have a much too wild tiny beast that needs to be put to bed. Night night!
