If Looks Could Kill...

...I would be so dead.

Sahara and I took a trip to Safeway this afternoon. Not too many exciting things usually happen there, but Sahara decided to change things up a bit. We went to the produce section, and while I was busy scanning for a great looking onion, Sahara, who I thought was staying right beside me, had taken it upon herself to begin pushing the cart. Obviously, she can't see where she is going and runs straight into a woman who was standing up against the refrigerator part of the store that holds the mushrooms and juice. She literally pinned this woman between the cart and fridge. I had no idea until the woman screeched. I turned around to see this woman being run down by my 2 year old. Sahara came running back to me and I grabbed the cart as fast as I could while apologizing profusely. All the woman did was glare at me. Didn't say one word, just tried to kill me with her death look. It almost worked.
Sahara, seeing that it was her fault and knowing that she ran this woman over, started to bawl, and kept blubbering "I sorry." The woman still didn't say anything.

I picked Sahara up and told her it was all right. Had her help me with a couple things which made her stop crying, but I wanted to get out of there so badly! I have to admit, even though I was so embarrassed, I actually had to hold back a couple chuckles when I thought about seeing that woman trapped. I know that's incredibly horrible of me, but seriously, it looked so funny! She wasn't hurt because I saw her walk around completely fine, so I figure I can have a laugh over it now.

Is life ever not exciting with a 2 year old?

And a couple of pictures from the other day when we had nice enough weather to play outside!

Sahara finally figured out how to make her bike go on her own! She can pedal!

Finding my old skates, and trying to skate for the first time-she did pretty well.

Skating with her aunt/best friend.
