Number Four :)
We are expecting a little boy at the end of April. Funny how three out of our four have all been born at the end of April. We are very excited. Shocked when they said boy in the ultrasound, though. It's took a while to set in, but we have now all fallen in love with the idea of a little man joining our family in just three short months.
Sahara is particularly excited to have a new baby in the family. She sings often to my stomach and talks about how she is going to teach him everything she knows. She is such a great big sister to Isla, that I have no doubt she will be just as great to her brother. Isla, on the other hand, I'm a little afraid is either really lovey-dovey that she might smother the baby or she can be rather dramatic and quite the biter. So, we'll see. She keeps me on my toes. She continues to add several words to her vocabulary every day and tries to have conversations with whoever will take the time to listen to her blab for seriously twenty minutes or more. She is hilarious and has the best facial expressions ever. Isla is obsessed with kitties and everything she wears must have a kitty on it. Considering she only has three shirts with kitties, I do laundry quite often. I can sometimes sneak in something with minnie mouse or penguins or monkeys, and that's about all. I guess it's all about the presentation. If I'm super excited about the article of clothing and speak about it in a high pitched voice, most of the time I can get her to put it on.
Ja has been busy around the house, updating and redoing the backyard that should be done by this summer, which I am so happy about. He is back in school and has been co-teaching a course here and there at the university. We're not sure what we have in store for us the next couple of years, if we will be moving to another state or staying here for a little while longer, but I'm excited to see what happens.
