I thought I would try to get a post done about our Florida trip before my posts become about the new baby!
We drove in my parent's motor home there and back, and thinking that it would be a somewhat easy trip for Sahara since she would be able to get up and around, but she ended up getting carsick when she was not buckled, so it was not as easy as we originally thought it would be. We had a lovely time there, though, beautiful, warm weather. Beach trips almost everyday. Spent a lot of time with my extended family. And, my brother had a beautiful wedding. I fell in love with the southern states and want to move there! It was so much fun driving through Mississippi, especially because of all the wetlands and marshes.
Sorry, the pictures are a little out of order, and only a taste of our vacation! :)
Playing in the ocean. My nephew wasn't quite sure of the water at first.
At the resort we stayed at for a few days. They had the cutest playhouse!
Our cabin
The view from our hotel room in Miami where the wedding took place.
At the rehearsal dinner, Sahara and my dad.
Ja and my grandpa.
Family picture. (Impossible to get one without Sahara's funny face)
Dancing to the live music at the rehearsal dinner.
36 weeks!
Sahara and my brother.
Playing in the sand, and loving it!
My sister and her cute little man!
Getting buried in the sand by Daddy.
Playing with rocks at one of the rest stops.
Sitting in her carseat in the front seat. This is all we could see of her tiny body from behind.
We took turns playing with her while we drove.
Looks like a fun family vacation!
ReplyDeleteYou look fabulous. You are so close now, can't wait to see pictures of your newest little love :)
TAKE ME BACK!!!! It all looks like so much fun. What are we doing back in Oregon??? Non
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun little vacation before the wee one gets here. Sahara's swimsuits are so cute but major bummer that she got car sick when she wasn't buckled in. I'm sure she had fun regardless! I'm still prego too but I'm almost positive it wil be in the next few days...wouldn't that be funny if we were at the hospital at the same time?! Praying for a smooth delivery for you!
