Quick Update

Things have been super busy over here...and are just now slowing down just enough to have a few moments to think.

My parents went to visit my brother, so my sister and I have been switching back and forth with who watches my little brother and sister. They come home tonight, so ends our crazy, but majorly fun week.

Sahara has started walking and is so much fun to watch! She can only walk a few steps, about the length of our dining room table, but is getting it! And, she is busy. She loves to take my hand and take me to where she wants me to go.

She hasn't been sleeping well again lately. We had a really rough week a couple weeks ago, she had a really high fever, so she didn't sleep...i.e. we didn't sleep. And, once she got over her fever/sickness, she was used to waking up during the night, so we had to break that habit...finally did, and now it's the teething thing again. So, let's just say we have had limited sleep. This does not make for a happy mama. My solution to this problem is fill her up with meds, Ja isn't as on board with that plan as I would like, so I guess I will just get used to waking up at 3:30.

Our house is coming along nicely. We have had a contractor out there to look at it and write up a bid for the work we want to have done before we move in. The closing date is supposed to be the 24th, happens to also be our 4th year anniversary, but we'll see if we make it. But, we are making progress!

Sahara's birthday is coming up, so I have to figure out what I want to do about that. I always thought I would be so on top of birthday plans, but it is turning out to be just like everything else in my life: last minute-fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants-sort of "planning".

Sorry for all the rambling, and unorganized post, but I have fallen behind with the blogging thing and just thought I would do a quick update until I can really sit down and write/post pictures/videos!
