So last night was the first night of trying to break Sahara's habit of getting up at 2am to eat. I had talked to the pediatrician and he had said that she didn't need this midnight snack, and she, by now, should be able to go throughout the entire night without eating. Well, we tried it...let's just say, we didn't make it to church this morning! It was a
very long night! I didn't go to bed with the idea that it was going to be the first night of habit-breaking, but since Ja and I went to bed so late, it just sorta happened. She woke up around 3am and started crying, I went to her and found she was standing up, with big sad eyes. I tried putting her back down, but that only fused the screaming. At that point, Ja suggested I just bring her to bed; which is something that has kinda become the norm around here. I brought her close to the bed and she immediately stopped screaming...she knew she was going to get what she wanted! Even though it was late, Ja and I found this amusing, and actually laughed. She snuggled for a little while and then began arching her back, which she has gotten exceptionally good at, and screamed. But, I didn't give in! I cuddled her, held her(very hard to do at this point), and whispered that it was going to be ok. Well, she didn't think so; thus began our trek to the couch which Sahara and I made ourselves comfortable on so that Dada could get a little sleep. And, eventually we made it to about 5 or 6 before she ate! Yea! This means only 1 or 2 more nasty nights and she might actually be sleeping through the night in her own bed!! Yahoo!!
On another note, the search for the perfect Easter dress is over! We went to Ta.rget yesterday and found a couple things on sale.

Isn't it cute? I love it!

And this one was just on sale and too cute, so I had to get it!
Only one more week to go with Ja's school term until Spring Break and a new term begins. I don't know what I will think of this next term. It depends on his schedule and how much stress goes along with it! This last term I liked because he was home more, so we'll see. But, I'm excited for Spring Break! Might be making a trip over to Bend to see his folks, and hopefully going on little adventures around here. :)
Sorry about all the different thoughts scattered through this post! Just had a lot to say!! :) So, to apologize, I will leave you with a picture of my sweet girl and her mad skills!
