Since Sahara has been, oh, about 4 or 5 months, she has been snorting...yes, snorting. She snorts when she's angry, when she wants something, when she's tired, and when I'm not shoveling food fast enough into her tiny, waiting mouth. She used to do this only ever once in a while, she now does this ALL the time. It seems like I get snorted at all day long by this tiny (she is below average in weight and height), itty bitty human! I can only hope that this is a phase that will pass quickly!
It took a lot longer for her to go to sleep tonight. I thought that I would try to have her stay up, instead of taking a short nap around 7pm and then not going to bed until 10 or 11. Well, that was a stupid idea. Apparently, we missed the "tired" pocket of time and went well over to the "I can stay up much later" pocket of time. So, yes, she did not go to bed until 10pm despite no nap. I will have to figure something else out.
Shoot, I hear the baby crying, I'll have to finish writing another time.
